Lola is fostered in IL
Lola is a white and cream colored shih tzu, about 3-5 years old, with a very sweet and playful disposition. She was released from a breeder. She is very social and follows foster mom everywhere. She has adapted very well to life outside of a cage. She also gets along with other dogs and loves playing with another foster sibling.
Lola is healthy, has been spayed and had a dental . She weighs in at 8 lbs. She has been microchipped, is heartworm negative and has been vaccinated. She is doing much better with housetraining and has an occasional accident here and there. Lola is ready for her furever home.

Ernie is fostered in TX
This cute little Yorkie boy is Ernie, who is estimated to be around 8 yrs old, and who weighs just under #5. Ernie was one of a group of small dogs abandoned in a crate at a local cemetery. They were found in the morning, when the maintenance crew came across them, and taken to animal control. We were called when their owners could not be located. Ernie is a happy, calm boy, who loves attention. He gets around well, but due to some back leg problems, he’s more of a lap puppy, than an active boy. While he was in a very neglected condition, he had obviously been well loved at some point in his life. Ernie is looking for a family who will love him again, and take good care of him. He will be happy to give you his full devotion for the rest of his life.
Ernie gets along with everyone in his foster home. He’s good with other dogs, kids, cats, and tortoises. He’s not sure what tortoises are, but he’s fascinated with his new friends. Ernie has never met a bite of food he didn’t like, regardless of who it belongs to, so for now he’s dining alone. Since he also lost his remaining teeth, due to poor care, he also does best with softer food. He doesn’t need canned food, just regular dry food, softened by soaking, works fine. Ernie has been fully vetted, and is ready to settle into a new home. He is also pretty well potty trained, and the more he gets used to the routine in his foster home, the better he has been doing.
