Mitzi	Mitzi is fostered in MO   Mitzi is a female Pomeranian born on 1/4/08.  She weighs 8 pounds.  Mitzi's story is a sad one.  Her former owner was an elderly gentleman that could no longer care for himself, is terminal, and had to go into a nursing home.  No one in the family was able to keep Mitzi so she is looking for a new home.  Mitzi was a spoiled princess in her former home and was allowed to do whatever she wanted.  Unfortunately this included going potty in the floor.  So she is in the process of being retrained that you go potty outside instead of inside.  She was in a home for a short time with a 3 yr old little boy that was used to dogs and did well there.  She also went for a visit to the local pet megastore and let all the people, big and small, pet or hold her. She loves to sit on your lap until she gets hot.  Then she will move, but stay close to you.  She does well in a crate. Did I say that Mitzi has a lot of coat on her?  Well she does and she needs brushed thoroughly on a daily basis.  Otherwise, she will mat.  So if you live in a cooler climate, Mitzi would be great as she comes with her own coat for the cooler climates.  Mitzi also lived in a home as an only dog.  So she is learning that she has to share here.  She was initially scared but settled in nicely.  She gets along with other dogs as long as they are not rough with her.  If they start to try to play rough she will growl and move away.  So she would do better in a home with only a few dogs that she can get used to. Oliver	Oliver is fostered in TX  Oliver is a 3 yo Male Yorkie.  He and his sister were turned over to CRA because their dad lost his job and could not care for them anymore.  Oliver weighs 5.3 pounds, he is a little underweight, but we are working on that.  I’ve been seperating him and his sister at meal times because she would move him out of the way and eat his food.  So hopefully we will see him gain some weight.  He is a very loving sweet boy, he loves to sit on your lap and gives great kisses.  They will be even better after he has his dental this week.    He has beautiful brown eyes that just suck you in.  I have not seen him play with toys yet, he gets along with the other dogs in the house.  He is going to make someone a wonderful family member. Perri	Perri is fostered in TX   Perri is a beautiful 4 lb.traditional Yorkie boy with a calm and sweet disposition. He was given to CRA by a breeder and is less than a year old--just a puppy really. Perri is coming out of his shell and learning to potty on pee pee pads. Perri has long beautiful hair and perky ears although when he's scared one ear goes up and one ear goes down. He seems to prefer to be carried around rather than be by himself and is so quite and calm you might not know he is there. Perri gets along wonderfully with other dogs (males and females) and kids. He is a precious little boy looking for a calm forever home.   Perri's  adoption fee is $450.00   I need a Guardian Angel
Taffie	Taffie is fostered in MO Introducing Taffie.  Taffie is a sable and white female chihuahua.  Well that is what we were told she is.  She was born on 8/31/11.  At this time she weighs 7 1/2 pounds.  Yes, that is 7 1/2 pounds.  She looks similar to a little sable and white sheltie.  Just not with a much hair.  Taffie is all puppy.  She wants to play and chew on toys.  She has not figured out how to make them squeak but she has sure been trying.  She was surrendered with several other puppies and a few adults.  She is learning to just be a puppy.  She is starting on her potty training and walking on a leash.  She is upto date on her shots and has been spayed.  So if you are looking for a friend that will be a little larger than a tiny chihuahua, she is the one for you. Sarah	Sarah is fostered in IL Hello, My name is Sarah. I am a female black/brown long hair Chihuahua. I was born on 09/14/11, so I am just a pup. I am completely vetted, spayed, and micro chipped. I weigh only about 3.5 pounds currently. I will probably only gain another pound or so before I am done growing, so I will still be small. I absolutely love to play and romp. I would do great as an only pup since I have not yet learned all my doggy manners. I don't mind cats. I am not totally housebroken yet, but I am getting there. It's a learning process. I am very inquisitive and like to chew on my toys. When my foster family has to go out without me, I don't mind being crated for short periods of time to help keep me safe and out of mischief. Everyone seems to love my innocent and playful personality. If you have enough time, energy and love to help a pup grow into a wonderful little companion... please consider me!
