LuLu
|
LuLu is fostered in
MO
ADOPTED
Lulu is a 16.5 pound
pug. She was born on 12/10/06. She weaned a litter of pups in
December and she was put in with a male in June. She was sold by
a breeder going out of business as a bred pug. Luckily for Lulu
the breeding did not take. So she will not have to go through
another litter and she can be the puppy that she never was able
to be herself. She had never felt grass or the ground before
coming into rescue. The breeder had her in a cage that was
elevated above the ground.
Lulu is a little skittish about being caught but she is a total
love once you hold her. She will come around fairly rapidly with
a little patience. She gets along with the other dogs here. So
if you are looking for a young active pug, Lulu is the dog for
you.

Nina Marie

Nina Marie is fostered in
TX
ADOPTED
Nina is a 4 yo 7
pound female, yorkie that was an owner turn-in at a shelter in
Texas. The owner did not speak English and the shelter worker
could not understand Spanish, so she wasn't sure why she was
brining her in. She did understand that she didn't have the
money to treat her. The shelter vet examined her and said she
was in pain from her back, and he gave her 24 hours for rescue
to get her or she would be put down. So CRA stepped up and took
her, as all the yorkie rescues in the area were full.
Nina has been in rescue for a year now and is still
looking for her forever family. She doesn’t understand why
someone hasn't come forward for her. I keep telling her that her
family is out there, it may just take little longer for them to
find her.
She is a very sweet girl, but she does like to hog the toys and
growls if anyone comes near them when she has them. She loves
people and gives the best kisses. She plays with other dogs here
in her foster home. Because of her back problems she is not
suppose to jump on or off furniture. That doesn’t seem to bother
her, her first family must not have let her on the furniture
because she doesn’t even try to get on it.
She got her first professional grooming and she was not
impressed at all, but she looks so good.
She has a beautiful little face and a wonderful long tail, gives
great kisses and she is housebroken, what more could anyone
want? She is going to make someone a wonderful family
member.
Nina Marie's
adoption fee is $300.00

Lindsey
 |
Lindsey is fostered in
MO
Lindsey is a 12
pound Yorkshire Terrier. She was born on 4/8/96.
Lindsey is a very
sweet older yorkie that was breeder surrender. She spent her
entire life having puppies for the pet store industry. She has
been spayed, is heartworm negative, current on her shots,
wormed, and had a dental. She lost 11 teeth in her dental but it
does not slow her down when it comes to eating hard dog food.
She is a very social dog and loves people. She will jump up on
my leg to be petted. She currently weighs 12 pounds but looks
like she could stand to lose a little of that. She is sweet to
the core and will make someone a wonderful companion. She does
not act like she is 11 years old as her paperwork states she is.
She loves to look out the windows and is very curious about her
surroundings. She has found that she loves the doggy beds.
So if you are looking a sweet older gal, look no further.
Lindsley's
adoption fee is $150.00

Willie

Willie is fostered
in TX
Willie’s owner was killed in a car crash
and the family could not keep Willie and his two brothers, Ben
and Jake, so they called rescue to see if we would take them.
Willie is a 12 year young, male Yorkshire Terrier, he weighs 11
½ pounds and is on a diet, he needs to lose about a pound. He is
very sweet. He has been updated on his shots and will get his
dental next week. We did blood work on him and his Bun (Kidney
function) was a little high, so he is on a supplement for that.
Willie went to a adopt a pet function over the weekend and he
did very well with everyone, even kids.
He has a beautiful coat and will be soft when it grows
back out. Willie would like a quiet home to live the rest of his
days in.
He has a beautiful face and does not look 12. If you can
find a place in your heart for him, please push the adopt
button.
If you have any questions about Willie, please contact his
foster mom at

Mattie

Mattie
is fostered in
TX
Please meet Mattie!
Mattie is a Yorkie girl, who is about 5 years old, and weighs
about 8#. She’s pretty thin though, so we are working on putting
some meat on her bones. Once that is done, Mattie should weigh
about 9#.
Mattie LOVES
attention, and has the fastest kisses in her foster home. She
was very ill when she was rescued, and now that she feels so
much better, she’s just very happy. Mattie had a lot of
infection, due to over breeding and poor dental care. Now that
she has been spayed and had 20 teeth removed, all the infection
has completely cleared up. Mattie shows her happiness with her
kisses, constantly wagging tail, and desire to be wherever her
foster family is.
She is a bit scared
of fast movements and loud noises still, so she would not be
comfortable with young children as yet. I think she would be
fine with older children. But adults with laps are just what
she’s looking for.
Mattie is spayed,
heartworm negative, and up to date on her vaccinations. She does
well with other pets, but she’s just as happy with just people.
Mattie is pretty submissive with other dogs, and is easily
bullied. She had some infected bite wounds from her previous
life, so she’s been attacked by another dog recently.
Her housetraining is
just starting, and so far she prefers a potty pad to going
outside. I think the wind and cold bother her, as she has no
body fat to help keep her warm. If you would like more
information about Fancy, please email any questions to texascrew@satx.rr.com.
Mattie's
adoption fee is $300.00
