Lindsey is a 12 pound Yorkshire Terrier.  She was born on 4/8/96.

Lindsey is a very sweet older yorkie that was breeder surrender. She spent her entire life having puppies for the pet store industry. She has been spayed, is heartworm negative, current on her shots, wormed, and had a dental. She lost 11 teeth in her dental but it does not slow her down when it comes to eating hard dog food.

She is a very social dog and loves people. She will jump up on my leg to be petted. She currently weighs 12 pounds but looks like she could stand to lose a little of that. She is sweet to the core and will make someone a wonderful companion. She does not act like she is 11 years old as her paperwork states she is. She loves to look out the windows and is very curious about her surroundings. She has found that she loves the doggy beds.

Lucky is fostered in TX

Hey everyone, I'm Lucky, a 8-10 month old 5 pound male Yorkshire Terrier. I was found as a stray, ended up in a shelter and no one came to claim me and this lady from Chris' Rescue saw me and took me to her home.

I love to play and tumbled with the other dogs. I LOVE to give kisses. FM says I'm a real sweet little boy and have the sweetiest face. I'm always getting into trouble, but FM just laughs at me and says I'm a typical puppy.

I'm ready to go to my own home. I've had my shots, been neutered and I'm microchipped. If you think you would like to have me give you kisses fill out an application for me.

Bently

Bently is fostered in TX

I'm Bently, a 3 -5 yo male yorkie. 6 pound Yorkie.  I'm a little underweight but FM said she will fix that.

I was covered with fleas and had some hair loss, FM took me to the vet for my shots and I have hookworks, and sarcoptic mange but the good news is I'm heartworm negative. I can't get around the other pups here because of the mange, it is contagious, so I have to stay in a play area all by myself but I'm being really good about it. I'm a little scared right now but I love being petted by FM.

I'll be neutered and have a dental in a couple of weeks when I start feeling better then I'll be ready for my forever home. FM says I have a beautiful face and the pictures don't do me justice.

FM says yorkies are coming out of the woodwork, I don't know what that means, but I'm glad I found my way to her place.

Tucker

Tucker is fostered in Texas

Tucker is a 13 month old 7 pound male yorkie. He was released from the life of breeding.

UPDATE 6/15/10

Tucker has made quite a bit of progress in the past 3 months.  He continues to try new things and has become a very social little guy, so finding him a home with a playmate is a must.  Tucker loves to be with his foster family and will now jump up in their laps, has learned to use the doggie door, is getting better walking on a leash and learning to come when he’s called.  He’s an adorable pup with a terrific personality and there's absolutely no doubt he'll make a loving companion.

He is kind of shy right now but he is working on it. He will come over to be petted, but as I walk he scatters. He wants to be with me but just isn't sure yet.

He has found the beds and loves to lay in them. He has come up to the couch and puts his feet up, but if I reach for him, he runs. I know one day soon, that will stop.

He is a very sweet little boy and will make someone a wonderful family member.
